Mein letzer Tag!

Sadly today was my last day at the Liebfrauenschule. It was also Valentinstag, which is not celebrated very much in Germany. People do give flowers and chocolates but they don’t send cards. Therefore it was very exciting for the pupils in the Liebfrauenschule to receive cards from some of our pupils in Year 5. First of all the pupils performed a dance. Some of the pupils were dressed as lions. They danced to the song “The Lion sleeps tonight”. Below you can see the head teacher coordinating the dancing and singing!

After the excitement of the cards we went to watch a play in the town. It was called “Die Hexe Backa Racka” and was about a witch who had two ravens and how she lost her magic.
